Notable events - a selection:
- In February 2002, the monthly average was 4.7 °C.
- On November 15 and 16, 2002, cloudy air due to Sahara dust was recorded.
- There was particularly little precipitation in May 2003, with a monthly total of only 29.5 mm.
- Three tropical days in a row were recorded from May 6 to 8, 2003, with a maximum of 31.1 °C on May 6.
- There were a total of 41 tropical days in 2003, the highest number ever recorded.
The last classic monthly table was completed in November 2004. Since then, the recording and entry of data has largely been carried out electronically.
