Climate data archive of the University of Graz from the year 1890

Information on

1890 / 07: Observation sheet of the "k.k. Central Institute for Meteorology".
1890 / 07: Device specification for the barometer: "Fortin 662" Further information: "Height of the thermometer above the ground 3.01 m" "Height of the rain gauge above the ground 1.11 m" "Observation hours 7h 2h 9h ".
1890 / 07: Observer: Josef Pischl (until 1913 / 11).

The oldest monthly table still available in the Institute's archives dates from July 1890. The measurements from 1836 onwards were taken at other locations in Graz, for which there are descriptions but no original data at the Institute.
